Benchtop fume hoods are designed to collect and exhaust low-level corrosive vapors, heat, steam, fumes, and odors. Interior fiberglass material provides good chemical resistance. Recessed resin work surfaces contain spills.

This cost-effective hood is intended for small facilities, or installations in which a number of hoods are needed. The translucent, acrylic door travels on a track featuring stop pins for open, closed or intermediate positions. When closed, a small space at the bottom of the door permits continuous airflow. Stepped stack allows use with 12cm or 15cm (4″ or 6″) diameter duct.

Air flow Pattern

Construction:

The hood is fabricated from special grade pre coated mild steel sheet duly powder coated/SS-304/SS-316 L grade from outside and epoxy Coating / SS-304/SS-316 L grade from inside. The inner walls of the working chamber is covered with epoxy coated asbestos or FRP or HDPE lining on request. The working table is made of zet black granite and provided with gas/air petcocks and additional power points, diffused fluorescent tubes. The front shutter is of shatter proof clear glass, framed in suitable wooden structure with vertically sliding facility and is connected with counter weight balancing arrangement. Our Fume exhaust hoods are also available with full FRP construction or combination of FRP and MS or SS-304/SS-316 L grade, with or without work bench. We also design and manufacture Scrubbers, Fume Extraction & Dust Collection Systems.

Ducting Provision:

Our Fume exhaust hoods are provided with suitable ducting provision of FRP or PVC material with required diameter and length as per the site conditions ( On request at extra charges)

Electrical:

All electrical fixtures are factory installed and pre-wired to a junction box on the roof of the fume hood superstructure. Zexter offers a wide range of FUME EXHAUST HODDS to suit every specific application of the user.

The exhaust system consists of a dynamically balanced centrifugal impeller, made of PVC/FRP, directly coupled with a TEFC industrial motor of 1440 RPM , Single phase 220 V and controlled by with systems ranges from 500 CFM to 1250 CFM or above as it is proportional to the dimensions of the hood.
