Class-II Type A1 Biosafety Cabinet Applications

• Type A1 cabinets are typically used for Biosafety Levels 1 through 3.
• Suitable for work with chemicals, provided vapors are not hazardous and do not interfere with the work when recirculated.
• Can be used with small amounts of chemicals when the cabinet is exhausted outdoors (optional configuration).

• Upper & Front Cover:
  Removable upper and front cover simplifies filter, blower, and front control panel replacement and makes maintenance easier.
• Material of Construction:
  • Internal working table is made of Stainless Steel (SS-304).
  • External cabinet is fabricated from SS-304 Steel or MS duly powder coated.
• Front Window / Sash:
  Front sash consists of thick plexiglass or optional toughened transparent glass for a clear interior view. It provides optimum resistance and protection against harmful UV rays, protecting users from ultraviolet radiation exposure.
• Drain Trough with Valve:
  The trough at the base is easy to clean and allows safe drainage of any liquid spillage.
• Decontamination by UV Lamp:
  UV lamp produces UV rays of 253.7 nm. The UV lamp and fluorescent lamp are interlocked, and the motor blower automatically turns off/on when the front sash is closed/opened. An optional timer controls the decontamination cycle, maximizes UV lamp life, and automatically switches the fluorescent lamp on after the cycle is completed.
