AGATE PESTLE MORTAR (MODEL NO. GGT-1007)

ZEXTER – A Pioneer in Lab Solutions

ZEXTER Agate Pestle Mortar is designed for grinding solid materials into fine powders under controlled conditions. The grinding process is designed to minimize heating effects and control the effects caused by stretching of deformable materials.

Agate is a preferred material for laboratory grinding applications as it helps control the grinding process and minimizes contamination from the mortar and pestle itself. It is also suitable for grinding dried spices and herbs where cleanliness and reduced cross-contamination are important.

The unit is designed for unattended grinding of non-gummy and non-fibrous materials. It is extensively used for preparing coal samples for calorific tests.

During operation, the mortar revolves while the pestle moves back and forth in a pattern that reaches all parts of the mortar, providing effective and uniform grinding.
