Terogotometer is designed for laboratory evaluation of soaps, detergents, dyestuffs, surfactants, cleaners for textiles and other materials. It provides controlled temperature, speed and agitation for accurate and reliable laboratory testing.

The unit consists of a rectangular constant temperature bath having an inner reservoir made of thick gauge 304 AISI stainless steel, buffed to mirror finish. The external casing is made of thick gauge CRCA sheet duly powder coated. The bath is provided with a stainless steel lid with 6 ports and is supplied with 6 stainless steel beakers.

Thermal insulation is provided between the walls to prevent loss of temperature and maintain uniform operating conditions during testing.

The agitators are driven by a heavy-duty geared motor with frequency drive. Specially designed stainless steel stirring paddles help prevent tearing of soiled cloths or swatches during operation. The agitator oscillates through an angle of 350° and its speed can be adjusted as required.

Thermal insulation is provided between the inner and outer walls to minimize temperature loss.

DRIVE MECHANISM

The 2, 4 or 6 agitators are driven by a heavy-duty geared motor with frequency drive. The stirring paddles are manufactured from stainless steel rods and are specially designed to prevent tearing of soiled cloths or swatches during operation.

The agitator oscillates through an angle of 350°. The speed is adjustable through the frequency drive and is digitally indicated. The drive assembly is mounted on a rigid stand above the constant temperature bath and is provided with detachable stirring paddles.

HEATING

A stainless steel sheathed immersion heater made of oxidized Nichrome wire tubular heater is fitted at the bottom of the bath to uniformly dissipate heat across the bath area.

CONTROL PANEL

• Mains Control: Mains ON/OFF control for operation of the unit.
• Temperature Controller: Fully automatic microprocessor based PID temperature controller with Class-A PT-100 sensor for accurate temperature control. The controller has separate displays for set value and process value.
• Digital Timer: Allows presetting of test duration in hours/minutes. The drive system automatically stops after completion of the set time.
• Motor Control: Motor ON/OFF control provided on the control panel.
• Frequency Drive: Continuously variable speed adjustment through the speed control knob.
